Structured BJJ training for beginners, experienced practitioners and competitors at Tiago de Paula BJJ, Forchstrasse 225. Training in Zurich since 2017 – with Gi, No-Gi, Kids, Women Only and complementary MMA & Striking.

TRAINING IN ZURICH
You do not need to be fit or have martial arts experience to start. Classes are structured so beginners can learn the fundamentals safely while experienced athletes continue to develop their technique and live training.
No previous experience is required. Coaches explain the class structure, positions and fundamental movements step by step.
Regular training with and without the Gi lets you learn and develop both forms of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
Train BJJ as a long-term practice or prepare specifically for tournaments. Competition is an option, never a requirement.
People from different backgrounds and experience levels train together in Zurich, with instruction available in English and German.
YOUR FIRST CLASS
Comfortable sportswear and a water bottle are enough for your first session. Arrive a few minutes early; a coach will show you the dojo, explain the class and help you choose the right starting point.

Members aged 14 to 25 with a valid school, apprenticeship or student ID can use our reduced All Access membership. It includes BJJ, MMA and Striking.

Depending on the group and coach, instruction in Zurich is available in English and German. The community is international and English-speaking beginners are welcome.

No. Live training is introduced progressively and competition is optional. You can train BJJ entirely as a recreational and fitness practice.
